AAUW International Fellowships in USA for Women

AAUW (formerly known as the American Association of University Women) International Fellowships are awarded for full-time study or research in the United States to women who are not U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Both graduate and postgraduate studies at accredited U.S. institutions are supported.

Recipients are selected for academic achievement and demonstrated commitment to women and girls. Recipients return to their home countries to become leaders in business, government, academia, community activism, the arts, and sciences.

Field of study: Fellowships are awarded to study any of the courses offered by the US institutions.
Eligible for Scholarship:

Applicants must be women and have citizenship in a country other than the United States or possession of a nonimmigrant visa if residing in the United States. Women holding dual citizenship in the United States and another country are not eligible.

Applicants must have earned the equivalent of a U.S. bachelor’s degree (earned in the U.S. or abroad) by 30 September 2015 and must have applied to their proposed institutions of study by the time of the application.

Applicans must be proficient in English and must intend to return to her home country to pursue a professional career.

Master’s/Professional Fellowship: $18,000
Doctorate Fellowship: $20,000
Postdoctoral Fellowship: $30,000

University of Sydney International Scholarships (USydIS)

USydIS is annually offered by the University of Sydney in Australia for international students undertaking postgraduate research program or Master by research at the university which will enhance the University’s research activities. Candidates who are eligible to undertake this Research program or Master’s degree at this University are invites to apply for the University of Sydney International Research Scholarship (USydIS).

Eligible for Scholarship:

The USydIS is open to all research disciplines; however participation in the USydIS program each semester is at the discretion of the Dean of each faculty. Please inquire with the scholarship provider for more information.

The USydIS will cover tuition fees and living allowance for up to three years with a possibility of one semester’s extension for PhD students.
