TU Delft Excellence Scholarships in Netherlands

The Delft University of Technology offers a number of excellence scholarship programs for international students. The Justus & Louise van Effen scholarship aims to financially supporting excellent international MSc students wishing to study at TU Delft. The scholarship covers the tuition fees and monthly allowance for living expenses.

Eligible for Scholarship: Excellent applicants admitted to one of TU Delft’s MSc programmes, with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 80 percent or higher of the scale maximum in your bachelor’s degree from an internationally renowned university.

Application Overview : There is no separate application procedure for these scholarships. To be considered for these scholarships, you must apply for admissions to an MSc programme offered at TU Delft. Applications must be received before 1 December of the preceding year.

The Washington Center offers a range of scholarships for students with disabilities:

Qualifying students will earn scholarships that help to offset the cost of participation. Although amounts vary, many students who apply for funds during summer 2015 will receive at least a full housing scholarship ($4,350). Please note that this aid can in some cases be combined with state funds. To be considered for a scholarship, students should:

  • Be a U.S. citizen.
  • Participate in The Washington Center’s academic internship program (Postgraduate Professional Development Program students are also eligible).
  • Complete and submit a TWC application by the regular deadline.
  • Indicate interest on the scholarships section of the application.
  • Provide TWC with documentation from a physician or campus disability services office.
  • Upon acceptance, return to the student portal to complete the disability services application if services are required.

Single Parent Scholarship

Single Parent Scholarships (SPSF) are given to low-income single parents who are pursuing post-secondary education in preparation for skilled employment. Scholarship Funds are administered by affiliate organizations and volunteers in each county of Arkansas. Eligibility criteria and application requirements vary by county. To apply for a scholarship or to get involved, contact the affiliate SPSF serving the county you live in.

Military Dependents Scholarship (MDS)

MDS provides a waiver of tuition, fees, room and board at any public college, university, or technical institute in Arkansas for dependents and spouses of Arkansans who were killed or missing in action or who were prisoners of war or who are totally and permanently disabled.

Law Enforcement Officers’ Dependents Scholarship (LEO)

LEO provides a waiver of tuition, fees, and room at any public college, university, or technical institute in Arkansas for dependents and spouses of Arkansas law enforcement officers, some Highway and Transportation Department employees, and other public employees, who were killed or permanently disabled in the line of duty.
